Completed his masters degree at Science University of Tokyo School of Engineering, Department of Architecture and entered Kajima Corporation in 1974, where he subsequently worked in the design divisions. Transferred to Hong Kong as procurement office manager in 1985. Transferred to European Regional Headquarters in London in 1988. Transferred to Taiko Trading Co., Ltd., as international division manager in 1991. Transferred to ILYA Corporation in 1998. Presently project director for international projects.
